We had planned on a budget safari in the oldest game reserve in South Africa, a bit of history taking in the battlefields of the Zulu war of 1879, diving with sharks and one of the most southernmost coral reef system in the world and walking in the World Heritage Drakensberg Mountains including the chain ladder ascent to the top of the plateau. Broken down into sections as the holiday had four different elements so that you can take a pick of the bits that interest you the most.
