The Hang Son Doong Cave Expedition, April 2025

2025 will bring one of our greatest adventures yet. We have been fortunate to be accepted on the April 2025 Hang son Doong Cave expedition. This expedition will involve treking through pristine Vietnamese jungle and exploring the full length of Hang son Doong cave, the worlds largest cave at 38,500,000 cubic Meters. Some sections of the cave are over 200m high and 160m wide, large enough to fit an airport inside! The expedition will involve challenging descents and climbs within the cave and numerous water crossings, spending a total of 4 full days within the cave. We can't wait to update the our website with this story! The expedition is run by Oxalis Adventure Tours in Vietnam, they run lots of tours in and around the caves of Vietnam, but this is by far their hardest and most difficult expedition.
